Benchmark Young Adult Education Programs

Education & Vocational Programs at Benchmark Transitions™

Benchmark has a long history of working with both traditional and non-traditional learners. Benchmark Young Adult School™, Inc., holds a Private School Affidavit through the State of California and provides a broad curriculum of educational opportunities, including high school, college, vocational education and occupational programs. The high school, colleges and universities are fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), thus most credits earned are transferable to other schools and universities in the country.

Benchmark Young Adult School™

Benchmark Transitions™ is one of the only young adult programs to offer an integrated, on-site high school component, Benchmark Young Adult School™. We have a long-standing educational alliance with Redlands Adult High School (RAS). The flexible curriculum allows students to obtain their high school diploma concurrently within the structure of Benchmark’s emotional growth and independent living curriculum. We also offer our own Benchmark Young Adult School™ curriculum, which is fully accredited by the National Private Schools Association Group (NPSAG) to facilitate a private school diploma, as necessary. Our high school curriculum is available throughout the year and there is no additional charge for high school at Benchmark Transitions™.

Benchmark’s on-site Education Department hosts a resource center, monitored internet access, a comprehensive tutoring and study skills program, assistance with college placement and testing, curriculum guidance and career testing.
